If you become a client, we will collect additional information necessary for your immigration application, which is governed by a separate engagement agreement and subject to enhanced confidentiality obligations.

  • Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing: Measures the performance of our advertising and allows us to show advertisements to people who have previously visited this website
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): A tracking technology provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. It records your visits to pages on this website and actions you take (such as submitting an enquiry form), and allows us to measure the performance of our Facebook and Instagram advertising and to show advertisements to people who have previously visited this website. The Meta Pixel may set cookies and share a hashed identifier with Meta, which Meta may match to an existing Facebook or Instagram account.
  • HubSpot: Our customer relationship and enquiry management platform, which sets cookies to recognise returning visitors and link enquiry submissions to website activity

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about your immigration eligibility, and no automated process determines whether we will accept you as a client. Every assessment is made by a licensed immigration adviser. We do use advertising platforms that build audience segments from website activity for the purpose of serving advertisements, as described in sections 2 and 10.

Under New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020, we collect and process personal information where:

  • It is necessary for the purpose for which it is collected (responding to your enquiry, providing advisory services)

  • It is required by law (AML/CFT obligations, IAA regulatory requirements)

5. Who We Share Your Information With

We treat all client and prospective client information as strictly confidential. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information with:

  • Immigration New Zealand (INZ): As required for visa application processing
  • Regulatory bodies: The Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA) if required for licensing or complaints purposes
  • Professional advisers: Tax advisers, lawyers, or financial advisers you have authorised us to coordinate with, and only with your explicit consent
  • Service providers: Website hosting (Netlify), enquiry and customer relationship management (HubSpot), payment processing (Stripe), and voice and chat assistance (ElevenLabs), each of which processes data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements
  • Analytics and advertising platforms: Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram advertising) receive website activity data through the tracking technologies described in sections 2 and 10. These platforms act as independent controllers of that data under their own privacy policies
  • Law enforcement: If required by law or court order

6. International Data Transfers

Our website hosting and email services may process data in countries outside New Zealand. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we ensure the receiving party provides comparable privacy protections in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with data transfer restrictions, please be aware that your information will be processed in New Zealand, which the EU has recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection.

7. Data Retention

  • Consultation requests (non-clients): Retained for up to 24 months, then securely deleted unless you become a client or request earlier deletion
  • Client records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years after the conclusion of our engagement, as required by the IAA Code of Conduct and AML/CFT record-keeping obligations
  • Website analytics data: Retained in aggregated, anonymised form indefinitely

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted through our website
  • Access controls limiting who within our organisation can view client information
  • Secure storage of client files with appropriate backup and recovery procedures
  • Regular review of security practices

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

Our website uses cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:

Our services are directed at adults making investment and immigration decisions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.

As a licensed immigration advisory firm, we are subject to obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009. This requires us to:

  • Verify the identity of clients (Customer Due Diligence)
  • Maintain records of identity verification and transactions
  • Report suspicious activities to the relevant authorities
