What We Do

How We Help You Get to New Zealand.

An investor visa application is only as strong as the advisory behind it. We don't just fill in forms — we build cases, anticipate objections, and manage the entire relationship with Immigration New Zealand on your behalf.

Why Investor Visa Applications Are Different

A skilled migrant visa has one set of rules and one applicant. An investor visa has overlapping regulatory requirements across immigration law, financial regulation, anti-money laundering compliance, and — if you're buying property — the Overseas Investment Act.

The source-of-funds documentation alone can take weeks. You'll need to demonstrate that every dollar of your investment was lawfully earned or acquired, tracing it through potentially complex international financial structures. Get this wrong, and the application stalls — or worse, gets declined.

Then there's fund selection. Not all NZTE-approved funds are created equal. The terms, management fees, lock-up periods, and sector focus vary significantly across the 23 managed funds currently on the approved list. Choosing the wrong fund doesn't just affect your returns — it can affect your compliance obligations.

This is why we exist. Not to sell you a visa, but to make sure the one you apply for actually gets approved — and that the investment structure behind it serves your financial interests, not just the regulatory minimum.

Our Advisory Scope

Eligibility & Pathway Assessment

Stage 1

Before you commit a dollar, you need to know where you stand. We assess your financial profile, personal circumstances, and objectives against the current AIP requirements to recommend the right category — Growth, Balanced, or Business Investor.

  • Investment capacity analysis against Growth/Balanced thresholds
  • Source-of-funds preliminary review
  • Health and character pre-screening
  • Family inclusion eligibility (partner, dependent children to age 24)
  • Honest assessment of approval likelihood

Application Preparation & Filing

Stage 2

We prepare and file your complete application to Immigration New Zealand, managing the documentation process end to end. This isn't a template exercise — every application is built from scratch based on your specific financial and personal circumstances.

  • Source-of-funds evidence compilation and narrative
  • Health and character documentation coordination
  • Application drafting, review, and filing with INZ
  • Managing all INZ correspondence and information requests
  • Targeting approval in principle within ~31 working days (average)

Investment Structuring & Fund Selection

Stage 3

Once approved in principle, you have six months to transfer and invest your capital. We help you evaluate the NZTE-approved managed funds, understand direct investment options, and structure your portfolio in a way that meets INZ compliance requirements while aligning with your financial goals.

  • Guidance across the 23 NZTE-approved managed funds
  • Direct investment and property development assessment
  • Fee structure and lock-up period comparison
  • Coordination with your existing financial advisers
  • INZ investment evidence documentation

Compliance & Ongoing Monitoring

Stage 4

Your investment period runs 3 years (Growth) or 5 years (Balanced). During that time, INZ monitors compliance. We stay with you through the entire period, ensuring you meet physical presence requirements and investment conditions — so your resident visa converts to permanent residency without complications.

  • Physical presence tracking and planning
  • INZ audit preparation and response
  • Investment condition monitoring
  • Permanent residency conversion filing
  • Future citizenship pathway guidance

Property Acquisition (OIO Consent)

For Qualifying Investors

Since March 2026, AIP visa holders can purchase one residential property valued above NZ$5 million (~US$3 million). This requires Overseas Investment Office consent — a separate process with its own application, fees, and assessment criteria. We manage the OIO application alongside your immigration file.

  • OIO consent application and filing
  • Processing typically within 5 working days (statutory: 15 days)
  • Government fees: NZ$2,040 (~US$1,200, existing) or NZ$3,500 (~US$2,100, new build)
  • Coordination with property lawyers and agents

Settlement & Transition Support

Beyond the Visa

Getting the visa is the beginning, not the end. We connect you with our network of trusted professionals across tax, banking, property, education, and business — so your transition to New Zealand life is as smooth as the application process.

  • NZ tax advisory referrals (transitional resident tax regime)
  • Banking and wealth management introductions
  • Education guidance for dependent children
  • Healthcare registration and orientation
  • Business networking in Auckland and beyond
